The location of the hotel is great as it is near a supermarket, Trollstigen, and the road to Alesund. We also enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen in the cabin and the strong and reliable WLAN connection. the fact that the hotel allows dogs and has nearby grass areas was a definite plus.
The close proximity of the cabins meant that we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy, which was a shame as the view was very nice.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming Scandinavian design of the hotel. The beautiful wooden furniture and soft colors created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel's general areas, with well-maintained paths and ramps that made it convenient for me to move around. The comfortable seating areas were perfect for relaxing and the decor added a touch of elegance to the place. It truly felt like a home away from home.
I would have loved to see more organized activities or facilities specifically catered to senior guests. It would have been nice if the children working there could provide some assistance or guidance on local attractions and activities suitable for seniors.

My recent stay at a cozy cabin in Norway was fantastic! The location was peaceful, surrounded by fine mountains and beautiful natural scenery. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, great to prepare delicious meals. The highlight of our trip was being able to explore the amazing fjords and even spotting the Northern Lights! The on-site amenities, like the sauna and hot tub, added an extra level of relaxation to our stay. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful getaway in Norway's wilderness. I had a wonderful experience at Setnes Feriesenter.

Setnes Feriesenter was an excellent value for our money. The cabin was new, clean, and spacious, with a modern bathroom and well-appointed kitchen. The views from the location were fine, and it felt private and peaceful. The staff were pretty good, provided us with extra towels at no cost and ensuring our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend Setnes as a perfect pit stop on a road trip.
The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

Had an amazing Xmas at this place! The breathtaking fjord views and surrounding mountains were absolutely stunning. The small kitchen was well-equipped and we loved being able to watch Netflix on the cozy terrace. The location was key - close to a shopping center and mall, making it super convenient for getting supplies. The helpful staff gave us great tips and even let us use their bikes. Can't wait to come back!
Though. The cabin lacked drawers or shelves near the beds, which made it difficult to charge our phones.

Loved my stay at this cozy little place! The apartment was sparkling clean and had all the amenities I needed, like a fridge, oven, and stove. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom had heated floors, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect, just outside the city with beautiful views. Plus, the efficient check-in and check-out process made everything so smooth. And the best part? Parking right in front!
The lady who checked us out wasn't very friendly or communicative. It would have been nice if she had asked about our stay or even said a simple goodbye.

Our recent stay at Setnes Feriesenter was a delight. The cottage we rented was cozy and had a warm ambiance. We particularly enjoyed the modern and comfortable beds, as well as the lovely deck area that offered amazing views. The hot shower was a welcome amenity, and the interior styling added a touch of elegance. We also appreciated the convenient location, which allowed us easy access to Åndalsnes and its beautiful surroundings. it was a great value for money.
While the cottage itself was lovely, there were a few drawbacks. The bathroom could have been cleaner, especially considering the stringent cleaning rules in place.
